my lady gaga's monster parody & letter

Dear @ladygaga

I hope that you see this letter. I have written a song “parody” for you, should you ever desire to try a Sesame Street appearance. I know that @katyperry was lately cut off of the show, mostly due to overreactive parents, which is really a shame.  I have written this song with that in mind, it is a completely G rated song suitable for 2-5 years old children. I hope you will indulge me in asking you to let me set up a mental picture for you of the way I imagine this song would play out, as if it were a video.

You would be dressed in a gown of fruits, vegetables, grains, meat, a la the Food pyramid. Long lettuce, kale, bok choy and other leafy greens should be your sleeves and on the high collar of this gown. For obvious reasons, I would want this gown to cover you from neck to knee at least, with awesome bread & grain boots. On your head you wear a hat, Carmen Miranda style, but instead of fruit, this hat would be made of cake and cookies. This would be the reason that The Cookie Monster is after your hat (in the song I have written).

Your good friend in the song should be, at least in my opinion, @katyperry. I think she should come back for another chance to be seen on Sesame Street, and also I think that the two of you working with the Muppets would be awesome. It would also make sense in the song I wrote, since she would have “seen him ‘round before”.

I will leave it up to you how the actual scenes of the song on Sesame Street would go, but I am imagining a dinner party, with you, @katyperry, a lot of other Muppets, and Cookie monster of course. He can’t take his eyes off your hat, makes a mess of the dinner party, etc, scenes of you trying to get him to eat better, him eating cookies in bed, and in the end, after he finally eats a healthy meal, you take off your hat, and you two share dessert.

My husband, kids, & I came up with this song one day, (well, parts of it), while on a long car ride. I play your songs to the point that we all know the words to all of them, but my family is a bunch of comedian/musicians, so parody songs easily pop into our minds. I hope you take no offence at the following song, for I wrote it all out, and am posting it here with the best of intentions. I will RT and beg all monsters to RT this letter, if you guys think that my song is good, and you’d love to see @ladygaga & @katyperry (please?) to be on Sesame Street singing this, please, pass it on, DM it to her, @ladystarlighny, @luccarl and anyone else you can think of!

I know you must have grown up watching at least some sesame street, @ladygaga I’m sure most of your monsters have seen something of it, at least. I grew up watching it, I was there when Mr. Hooper was still alive, I was there when he passed away. Sesame Street and The Muppet Show were a big part of my life when I was little. It was part of my kids lives when they were little.  I would love to see you on the Sesame Street. I would like @katyperry to get another chance. I would like it if some of those over-reactive parents could see this and say ‘that was really great!” and become your fans because of it. And even better, you could do it for charity. Why? Because it would make it even more meaningful.

I love you @ladygaga. I hope you read this, and I hope you like the song. Its syllabatry fits right along with the music of the original, just listen to it as you read my lyrics. I beg forgiveness, should any be necessary. I also have ideas for the video of the original “Monster” song. Should you ever choose to follow me, I would DM them all to you for your perusal.
